Alistair McIntosh

Alastair McIntosh is a writer, broadcaster, and campaigning academic whose work seeks to connect people, place, and spirituality for a fuller understanding of community. He views global crises as crises of the human condition requiring an evolution that is more cultural than political, economic, or technical. For McIntosh, spirituality is "that which gives life," and specifically, "life as love made visible," approached from Quaker and interfaith perspectives. His critical stance on corporate and landed power controversially led to the axing of his teaching post at Edinburgh University.
