Celsus Books
Celsus was a 2nd-century Roman philosopher who wrote in Greek and is known as an opponent of early Christianity. His work, which survives only in quotations by Origen, represents the earliest known comprehensive attack on Christianity. Celsus examined the Christian faith with philosophical skepticism and critical distance. His arguments, aimed at logically and rationally questioning Christian claims, offer valuable insight into the intellectual debates of the era.
