Professor Lewis Mumford Books

Lewis Mumford was an American historian and philosopher of technology and science. He is particularly noted for his study of cities and urban architecture, and his tremendously broad writing career also included a period as an influential literary critic. Mumford's work was influenced by the Scottish theorist Sir Patrick Geddes. His writing focused on the relationship between humanity, technology, and the environment.
