John Alexander Fuller-Maitland
A prominent British music critic and scholar from the late 19th to early 20th centuries, this writer championed the rediscovery of early English music, particularly from the 16th and 17th centuries. He was instrumental in promoting the concept of an English Musical Renaissance, celebrating composers of his time.
