Difficulties in teaching foreign languages on the base of own experiences
Focusing on the challenges of teaching German in a junior high school setting, this essay explores the experiences of a teacher working with SEGPA classes, which cater to students with learning difficulties. It highlights the lack of training provided for educators in handling diverse student needs and examines the social context of French ZEP schools. The author shares insights from interviews with students, discussing their motivations for learning German and the educational hurdles faced in the classroom. The goal is to enhance understanding of effective foreign language teaching in special education settings.
