Focusing on the establishment of a Local Agricultural Innovation System, this work emphasizes the importance of training facilitators in Ciego de Avila, Cuba. It seeks to address how to effectively train these facilitators to enhance agricultural development and innovation at the local level. The research employs methods like document analysis, surveys, and discussion groups to understand the sociocultural context. The outcome is a proposed diploma course curriculum rooted in Education for Development principles, aimed at improving local agricultural management.

The intention to evaluate in a theoretical and practical way the Program of Continuity of Study for Social Workers, is a reality embodied in this research that we developed, with the need to discover the social reality and characterize the demands through a needs assessment, as a basic element in the social-educational and cultural intervention of the program, remaining in its first phase which is the evaluation of the context and needs, with the purpose of determining the relevance of this program, that is to say, to what degree the different actions that complete the program respond or not to the needs of its target group, which are the Social Workers in training in the province of Ciego de Avila, with a view to innovation, change, improvement, prevention or problem solving of the program.
