This dissertation explores how the coming out process impacts the religious practices of urban lesbians, gays, and bisexual individuals. Focusing on Christian faith, it examines behaviors like church attendance and private prayer, based on data collected from four California metropolitan cities. The research aims to shed light on changes in religious practices linked to sexual identity development.
