The study explores the impact of smartphone tablets on the academic performance of tertiary students in Nigeria, revealing that a significant portion of respondents (60.4%) are aged 20-23. With nearly equal gender representation, most students (89%) utilize smartphones for both social and academic activities, predominantly using WhatsApp. The findings indicate that daily study time correlates positively with academic performance, particularly among those with a CGPA between 2.4-3.4, highlighting the importance of technology in enhancing educational outcomes.
