Implementation of Personnel Policies in Tertiary Institutions

Focusing on the implementation of personnel policies in Adamawa State's tertiary institutions, this study utilizes a descriptive survey design to assess job satisfaction among academic staff. Data was collected from 119 school administrators and 250 academic staff using specific questionnaires. Findings reveal a disparity in perceptions; while administrators rated the implementation of appointment, promotion, and remuneration policies positively, academic staff expressed low satisfaction regarding appointment and promotion policies, remaining neutral on remuneration.
