Barnabas

Barnabas, originally named Joseph, was among the earliest Jewish Christian disciples in Jerusalem, belonging to the tribe of Levi. He undertook missionary journeys alongside Saint Paul, defending gentile converts and advocating for their inclusion. His narrative is featured in the Acts of the Apostles, and he is mentioned in Paul's epistles. Traditionally, he is recognized as the founder of the Church of Cyprus.
