Daniel Cole

Daniel Cole (born 1983) is an English writer who is known for his crime novels.
He has worked in professions in which he could help people, animals or the environment. He worked as a rescue worker and later as an official of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA ). He was also active in an organisation dedicated to saving life in British waters (the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, RNLI).
His debut novel, Ragdoll (2017), was a Sunday Times bestseller and has been translated into more than thirty languages. A sequel to the book, the thriller Hangman (The Puppeteer), was published the same year, and the final volume in the series, Endgame, was published in 2019. A novel, Mimic (The Imitator), was published in 2021. A television series was based on the thriller Ragdoll.
