Augustus Pugin

    Augustus Charles Pugin was an artist, architectural draughtsman, and writer focusing on medieval architecture. Though born in Paris, he spent most of his life in England. After considering and abandoning a career in architecture, Pugin settled into commercial art. He worked primarily for publishers of illustrated books and was a skillful watercolourist as well as an accomplished draftsman.
