Anna Seward

Often called the Swan of Lichfield, this English Romantic poet is celebrated for her elegies and sonnets. Her verse, partly inspired by Erasmus Darwin, also includes a poetical novel. Having spent nearly her entire life in Lichfield, her poems represent a valuable contribution to Romantic literature.
