William Dodd

William Dodd was an English Anglican clergyman and a man of letters. He lived extravagantly, earning him the nickname "Macaroni Parson." In an effort to clear his debts, he dabbled in forgery, but was caught and convicted. Despite a public campaign for a Royal pardon, he became the last person to be hanged at Tyburn for forgery.
