Anne Blunt, alongside her husband Wilfrid Scawen Blunt, was a pioneering figure in Arabian horse breeding and a co-founder of the Crabbet Arabian Stud. Their extensive travels through Arabia and the Middle East in the late 1870s were instrumental in acquiring and bringing influential Arabian horses to England. These horses, including notable names like Azrek and Mesaoud, laid the foundation for a significant portion of today's purebred Arabian horse lineage. Lady Anne's dedication established a lasting legacy in the history of these noble animals.
