George Chalmers Books

George Chalmers was a Scottish antiquarian and political writer dedicated to extensive historical research and critique. His monumental, unfinished work, Caledonia, delved into Scotland's deep historical periods, from Roman times through the Scoto-Saxon age. Chalmers also contributed biographical sketches to editions of other authors' works, known for his controversialist style, often writing under pseudonyms.
