Stephen Arnold Douglas Books

Stephen Arnold Douglas was an American politician from Illinois and the architect of the Kansas-Nebraska Act. He served as a U.S. Representative and a U.S. Senator. In 1860, he was the Democratic Party's nominee for president, ultimately losing the election to Abraham Lincoln.
