Sarah Tyson Heston Rorer

    Sarah Tyson Rorer was an American pioneer in domestic science, establishing the Philadelphia School of Cookery. Throughout her career, she conducted numerous cooking exhibitions and held leadership roles in educational and public forums, including significant management at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. As an editor and part-owner of Table Talk, and a contributor to other prominent publications, Rorer significantly shaped the discourse on domestic practices and education.
