Eiríkr Magnússon Books

Eiríkur Magnússon was an Icelandic scholar and translator who served as a Librarian at the University of Cambridge. In collaboration with William Morris, he produced the first English-language translation of the Völsunga saga. His work significantly contributed to the dissemination of Norse literature and mythology in the English-speaking world. Magnússon's meticulous approach and deep knowledge of Old Norse ensured the accuracy and literary merit of his translations.
