This book is full of life, pain, and passion, true stories and stories that I may have not experienced but someone has. I started this book because of the things that were going on in my life. Writing has always been a stress reliever for me and because I was under so much stress this is the way I was able to handle it. Not only was this experience stressful but it allowed me to open up my eyes to where I want to be, what kind of man I wanted to be with and where I was headed. I decided to turn this negative experience around and make it positive by helping others resolve emotional conflict weather it was rape, a relationship conflict or a conflict within one self. These things are expressed in this short but powerful book through short stories, poems and quotes. As you will see through all the pain, hurt and mayhem healing, forgiveness, love of self, my son and God is what saved my life. What or who will save yours? Take this time out to read enjoy, learn, help yourself and or another. Extremely excited and always facilitating strength, Angelic M. H. Muhammad

'Linda Lanterman's latest book, Release Me, is her best effort yet. Well written with fast-paced dialogue... the lives of these three women intertwine in delicious mystery and intrigue. I couldn't put it down.'Melanie Anderson-Caster, contributing author,Chocolate for a Woman's Blessings andChocolate for a Woman's DreamsLanterman keeps you on your toes. An assassin challenges her orders. A shark snatches a goat from the rocks. An agent who questioned authority in the past does it again. Lanterman's characterization skillfully manipulates the question of how we become the people we are. She weaves a tale of conspiracy and partnership, death and fishing. With little thought, Millie leaps from teaching and her sweet and lovely image into working for the CIA. An assassin, Hedda knows she has lived a half-life. She survives on her terms, but one chore remains.Lanterman's story forces one to consider greater civilian oversight of our federal security agencies. She hooks more than fish in this vivid tale that moves from Montana, California and Washington, DC to the Kona Coast.

Words of desire, pain, love, desperation, hope, hate, and a broken heart flood the pages to tell the story of a young lady who feels like she's been through it all. These words are the soul of this young, confused and emotional girl all poured out in the book you now hold in your hands. The first part consists of the experiences and emotions that were the poison in her life and then in the end a glimpse of hope is found as her poetry makes a turn and the antidote is recovered. Her story ~ poetry is one that she's wanted to tell since she could hold a pen. So grab a cup of coffee (or tea, whatever tickles your fancy), take a seat, flip through the pages and let her tell it!
