While the founding fathers conceived the concept of ideal liberty, they only practiced what was considered to be pragmatic liberty for their period. However, their wisdom embodied in the United States Constitution has allowed the document and our society to grow and mature as liberty and freedom in the United States expands. The unique perspectives on current issues in American society suggested in this book are specifically designed to invoke the reader to think differently on many issues that have otherwise been beaten to death with the same old arguments. Collectively, they comprise what this author believes to be the modern paradigm of liberty and the contemporary fruition of the founders' vision. The hope is that the reader will come away with a new perspective on many issues and, perhaps, think a little more objectively instead of what is repeatedly spoken by others. Through the centuries, while some liberties have broadened and others narrowed, Americans still only exercise the contemporary practice of practical liberty and freedom. This book challenges the reader to consider the potential of the United States as we continue to grow and aspire towards a truly free society for all Americans.
