The exhibition 1920-2020 Prague-Tokio / Exchanges, Parallels, Common Visions presents dozens of models, photographs, and artworks, many of them unique, and several Japanese authors not yet exhibited in the Czech Republic and Czech authors whose works were realized directly in Japan or whose work was significantly influenced by Japanese architecture. The mutual influence of Czech and Japanese architecture is mapped via dozens of models, photographs, and works of art. Items on display include works by Japanese authors who have not yet been exhibited here and Czech authors whose buildings were realized directly in Japan or whose work was significantly influenced by Japanese architecture. Models include the Church of St. Paul in Karuizawa and the Music Center of Gunma Prefecture by Antonín Raymond, an architect of Czech origin who is considered one of the founders of modern architecture in Japan. There is also a replica of the model of the famous Czechoslovak pavilion for Expo 1970 in Osaka by architects Viktor Rudiš, Vladimír Palla, and Aleš Jenček, and the iconic Nakagin Capsule Tower from 1972, and buildings by Sou Fujimoto and the Bow-Wow Studio. The exhibition is complemented by works of art by Patrik Hábl, Jindřich Zeithamml, Michal Cihlár, Mark Ther, Veronika Richterová and Epos 257. Jakub Fišer created a tea pavilion as a site-specific installation for the exhibition.

Katalog k výstavě konané 22.12.2010 - 30.1.2011.

Česko-anglický katalog doprovázející výstavu NEW FACE OF PRAGUE je oproti výstavním panelům rozšířen u jednotlivých projektů o další fotografie či plány, obsahuje mapku realizací a krátké informační medailonky s fotografiemi architektů. Je uveden textem autorů výstavy, dále dvěma eseji od historiků a teoretiků architektury Petra Kratochvíla a Zdeňka Lukeše, který seznámí především zahraniční čtenáře a návštěvníky výstavy s vývojem a podobou minulé i současné moderní architektury v Praze. Grafická úprava katalogu je dílem Tomáše Brichcína a Roberta V. Nováka. Výběr pěti desítek staveb vychází z typologie, v každém z deseti témat (administrativa, industriál, veřejné stavby, kultura, bydlení, rodinné domy, interiéry, hotely, ekologie, vize) se představí zpravidla pět realizací či projektů. Návštěvník/ čtenář se tak seznámí s celou škálou realizací, od jemu blízkých (rodinné domy, obytné celky), až po stavby ovlivňující podobu města a život v něm (administrativní budovy, hotely, rekonstrukce průmyslových budov, veřejné stavby, interiéry). Neméně přitažlivou tématikou jsou projekty týkající se budoucnosti Prahy, developerských projektů, revitalizací v několika městských částech, nebo oblast věnující se „zeleným“ projektům na úrovni rodinného domu i rozsáhlého areálu včetně veřejnosti přístupného parku.
