Cosmo Nelson Innes was a Scottish advocate, historian, and antiquary. He was recognized for his skill in deciphering ancient Scottish records and contributed to the compilation and editing of parliamentary statutes. His interest in ecclesiastical matters led him to join the newly formed Scottish Episcopal Church.
