John Linton Myres

    A British archaeologist whose excavations took place in Cyprus in the early 20th century. His work significantly influenced the British archaeologist Vere Gordon Childe. He also contributed to the Encyclopædia Britannica and to geographical handbooks for the British Naval Intelligence Division during World War II.
