Thomas Horsfield Books

Thomas Horsfield M. D. was an American physician and naturalist who worked extensively in Indonesia. He meticulously described numerous species of plants and animals from the region, significantly contributing to the understanding of its biodiversity. Later, he served as a curator at the East India Company Museum in London, where he continued his scholarly pursuits.
