Burnett Bolloten Books

Burnett Bolloten was a British writer and scholar whose work focused on the Spanish Civil War. As a journalist, he witnessed its outbreak and, though initially sympathetic to the Communist Party, grew disillusioned with their actions during the conflict. After the war, he dedicated himself to interviewing refugees and compiling materials on the war, which later became a valuable archive.
