Jonathan Marte'

This author views writing as a process supported by wisdom, forged by adversity, and carved through triumph, serving as a bridge between reason and insanity. More than a livelihood, writing is the expression of a soul navigating the space between fantasy and reality, transcending the invisible and giving weight to new possibilities. As an author with schizophrenia, she finds herself teetering between these intangible realms. Writing grants her the profound freedom to create and destroy, allowing escape from painful realities and the affirmation of her identity with the words, 'I am an author.'

It is a nonfiction Christian book that captures the essence of truth and lies through the world of introspection. I evoke the reader into thinking more about their life when it comes to their own belief system by illustrating lessons that I have learned throughout my journey – a life filled with such raw emotions and upheaval. This is a story that captures the essence of that journey through the eyes of my own perspective. As I desperately try to figure out the cause of my condition, and the source of my calamity. I asked myself and the reader a series of questions throughout the book. How can this be and what void are you trying to fill? I am driven by a series of tragic events that leads the reader down the path towards redemption. As I search for answers from God in my darkest moments in life, I’m reminded that I am not alone and begin the journey of self-discovery through the process of introspection.
