John Maundeville Books

Jehan de Mandeville, also known as Sir John Mandeville, is credited with compiling a singular book of supposed travels. Written in Anglo-Norman French and published between 1357 and 1371, this work achieved extraordinary popularity through translations into numerous languages. Despite the often unreliable and fantastical nature of the described journeys, it served as a valuable reference.
