In jeder der Geschichten geht es um ein Erlebnis Jonathans mit einem seiner zahlreichen Tierfreunde. Hier weiss er einen pfiffigen Rat für die Probleme des kleinen Igels Leopold, der so gerne mal einen Luftballon haben möchte, wobei ihm allerdings seine Stacheln jedesmal einen Strich durch die Rechnung machen. Der Parkwächter "entschärft" die Stacheln mittels Korken und kann so seinen kleinen Freund glücklich machen. Glücklicherweise hat er auch genug Ballons auf Vorrat, wenn das System nicht hundertprozentig funktioniert. Inhaltlich ist die Geschichte recht gelungen und Butterworths freundliche Illustrationen sprechen an. Das kleinformatige Bilderbuch enthält relativ viel Text.
