M. Raynouard

François Raynouard was a French historian, philologist, and playwright. His published works and translations of troubadour literature, building upon the efforts of Jean-Baptiste de La Curne de Sainte-Palaye, were instrumental in disseminating the troubadour style. These contributions served as a prelude to the Occitan revival, which later found its embodiment in the Felibrige movement.
