Alexander Demandt Biography

Alexander Demandt is a German ancient historian who primarily publishes on Roman history and Roman cultural history, as well as on topics of historical theory. He taught as a Professor of Ancient History at the Friedrich-Meinecke-Institut of the Free University of Berlin from 1974 to 2005.
