Výbor z díla amerického básníka Richarda Wilbura (1921) sestává ze dvou autorových esejů a přibližně padesáti básní. Charakteristickým rysem jeho poezie je eliotovská „neosobnost“ a „výtečná technika“. Wilburovo dílo postrádá lacinou kontroverznost, o to víc však staví na tradičních hodnotách.
