Josef Maršál

Josef Maršál is a Czech journalist, presenter, reporter and actor.
From 1986 to 1991 he graduated from the University of Economics in Prague where he received the degree of Ing..
Since 1990 he has worked for Czechoslovak Television, or since 1993 for Czech Television. First he was an external member of the newsroom (1990 to 1991), and since 1991 he has been directly employed by the newsroom. He participated in the following programmes: night news, Minute of the Day, Foreign 21, Events in the World and Events Plus. From 2000 to 2012, he co-hosted, together with Jolana Voldánová, the main news programme of Czech Television, Události.
In 2003, he also started presenting the programme "Wandering Camera" with Iveta Toušlova, and he had previously worked on the programme "Objektiv". In 2007 he played a small role as a presenter in the film and later in the series Maharal. He has contributed to the book edition of some of the reports of Toulavá kamera.
