Anna Lewandowska

Anna Maria Lewandowska is a Polish sportswoman, entrepreneur, coach, personal trainer, dietitian, television presenter and media personality, representing Poland in traditional karate, multiple world, European and Polish karate medalist, as part of the World Fudokan Federation (WFF).
At the age of 13, she joined KK Pruszków, where she began practicing karate under the supervision of trainer Jerzy Szczăchor. She opted for karate thanks, among other things, to her uncle Pawl Krzywański (a multiple medalist in international competitions) and his daughter Katarzyna, who was world, European and Polish champion in the executioner of individuals.
She won her first medal in 2005 at the Polish Kumite Individual Championships in the junior category, where she placed second. A year later, she won a bronze medal at the 2006 ME in the cadet category. Three years later, she won a gold medal at the European Championships in the senior category. In 2008, she won a bronze medal for the team at the World Championships. The 2011 ME finished with a bronze medal in the fuku-go competition. A year later, she won second place at the World Championships in the team 'kata', and won gold, silver and bronze medals at the Polish Championships. The performance at the European Championships in 2013 added to her achievements a gold medal in the mixed doubles and a silver for individual performance. In 2014, Lewandowska won bronze at the Polish championships and ended her career with a bronze medal at the world championships in the "ko-go kumite" competition. During her sporting career, she won a total of 38 medals at the Polish, European and World Championships of the World Karate Federation WFF. She graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw.
She and her husband, Robert, are involved in charity work. They have also helped many severely ill children. In 2016, Anna donated all the training income for 500 people to the House for Single Women and Mothers with Children in Gdansk-Wrzeszcz. On March 21, 2020, Mr and Mrs Lewandowski announced on their Instagram account that they would commit €1 million to fight the coronavirus. Lewandowska also donated 5,000 portions of personnel from the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw fighting the covid-19.
