Hans Johann Georg Traxler was a German painter, cartoonist, illustrator, and author of children's books. After studying painting and lithography at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, he became a founding member of the German satirical magazines 'Pardon' and 'Titanic.' His work appeared in publications such as ZEIT, SZ, and FAZ. Furthermore, he wrote, drew, and illustrated over forty works, including children's books, cartoons, and adaptations of classical literature, highlighting his versatility and profound engagement with various artistic mediums.
