Dieter Roth Books
April 21, 1930 – June 5, 1998
Dieter Roth was a Swiss artist renowned for his artist's books, prints, sculptures, and works crafted from found materials. His art, often imbued with a dark undertone and a furious, obsessive energy, set him apart from many of the lighter-hearted Fluxus artists. Despite the wild energy, Roth was a fluent draftsman and expert printmaker, containing his potent expression within peculiarly virtuosic forms.
