Focusing on the interplay between literature and theology, this work delves into the identity, suffering, and hope of Puerto Rican individuals. It highlights the oppression and resistance within the community, while presenting a theological vision that seeks liberation for both those on the island and in the diaspora. By utilizing personal narratives as a contextual foundation, the study contributes to the broader discourse of contextual theology and diasporic studies, situated within decolonial and post-colonial frameworks.
