William Herschel Books

William Herschel, originally from Hanover, became a British astronomer renowned for discovering the planet Uranus and two of its major moons. He also identified the existence of infrared radiation and is celebrated for his extensive musical compositions, including over twenty symphonies. His musical background fueled his interest in mathematics and optics, leading him to construct his own advanced telescopes. Herschel's meticulous observations and experiments expanded the known universe and the spectrum of light.
