The present part-volume, being the first in a series of publications of folktales of the Bulsa in North Ghana, contains 21 folktales dealing with the Skygod Naawen. The stories are published in Buli, the original language, together with verbatim English translations; appendices contain detailed notes and annotations to each story, followed by indices of keywords, motifs and tale-types, a glossary and a bibliography.
