The Nagel family of the Harz and Australia 1716 - 1993

Johann Heinrich August Wilhelm Nagel, son of Johann Carl Christian Nagel (1779-1824) and Hanna Ernestine Heidenreich, was born in 1814 in Lautenthal, Hanover. He married Johanna Caroline Rudolphine Unterberg Bohn (1796-1869), widow of Carl Bohn and mother of eight, in 1840. They had one son. Johann died in 1866 in Hahndorf, South Australia.
