This short synopsis of topographical anatomy is intended for medical students who already have a good knowledge of systemic anatomy. The chapters follow the arrangement usual in anatomy coursebooks, i.e. according to the parts of the body: head, neck, chest, pelvis, back, and extremities. The test is accompained by simplified drawings, however, ron detailed information the student has to consult an anatomy atlas. In this second edition several new drawings were added, some chapters were revised and the clinical notes were extended. The short autopsy guidepresents the most common approaches to anatomical dissection. As other approaches are also possible, the student has to follow the teachers instructions in the autopsy room.
