This worldwide data base contents data on the Short Tandem Repeat systems (STR's), for exampie CD4, CSF1P0, CYP19, D18S51, D8S1179, D21S11, DHFRP2, F13A1, FI3B, FABP, FES, FGA, LIPOL, RENA, TH01, TPOX, VWA3lA, the Variable Number of Tandem Repeat polymorphisms 3'APO B, D1S80, YNZ22, the structure polymorphisms HLA-DQa as weB as Polymarker-Kit (LDLR, GYPA, HBGG, D7S8, GC), and eight Y- and X-chromosomal polymorphisms. lf possible the allele frequencies have been pooled by the weighted arithmetical mean. Data quality has been checked by cluster analysis (UPGMA method). Maps and figures give a worldwide overview on population data published up to today, complete references for each system are included.
