More about the book

The book is a collection of papers presented in the United Kingdom at an international two day workshop on Soft Computing held at the De Montfort University. It consists of 38 papers representing the current interests in the fields of fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks and genetic algorithms. In particular there is a strong emphasis on the use of these techniques for applications that tackle real problems faced in industry. The strength of the work is that it is a snapshot of current important research interests in these areas, both from a research and application point of view. It will be of interest to researchers (both academic and from industry) as well as post graduate students who wish to see some of the more recent developments in the soft computing field.
