Induktive Durchlaufglühanlage zur Rekristallisation von kaltgewalztem Stahlband

The continuous annealing of steel strip by inductive heating is an alternative to gas fired continuous annealing lines. Many applications exist especially for flexible annealing processes of high strength materials. According to this background, ultra short annealing processes have to be realised. Therefor a newly developed pilot line allowing the inductive annealing of Strips with the maximum width of 800 mm has been installed. The research project dealed with the influence of ultra short annealing cycles on the properties of cold rolled steel strip äs well äs with the adaption of in-duction heating to different steel grades. A combination of longitudinal flux induction up to the Curie temperature followed by a transverse flux induction is used. Apart from the conception of the pilot line and laboratory examinations, results obtained with the pilot line are presented. The different inductive annealing concepts are evaluated based on the results.
