South and Central American rivers

This volume contains a collection of papers presented in 1999 at the meeting „Working Group on Large Rivers“ in Brazil. The presentations were dedicated to the rivers Amazonas and Paraná and their tributaries and show the great diversity of Latin American Rivers.
