This collection presents a series of papers focused on Agent Communication, a key research area within multi-agent systems. It builds on previous workshops, with proceedings published in earlier volumes. The foundation of this collection stems from the accepted submissions of the workshop on Agent Communication Languages, held alongside the AAMAS conference in July 2003 in Melbourne. Out of 15 submissions, 12 were selected for publication, reflecting a high standard of quality despite the lower-than-expected number of submissions for such an important topic. The high acceptance rate demonstrates the caliber of the selected papers rather than a need to meet a quota. Additionally, many papers on Agent Communication were presented at the main conference, prompting invitations for authors to revise and extend their work for inclusion here. This collection offers a comprehensive overview of the current state of research in Agent Communication, highlighting key topics of interest within the community.
