More about the book
This study presents a detailed analysis of the value representations that inform the system of social, religious and cosmological relations of the Bedouin society of northern Jordan. It is based on information, which the author gathered between 1998 and 2002 in Hawsha and the neighboring villages. His cultural and linguistic familiarity and kinship connectedness with their inhabitants have enabled him to collect data of great ethnographic precision and subject these to perspective analyses
