This is a text by Gisela Stelly, and an essay by Rudolf Schmitz. This volume collects the eclectic art production of Martin Kippenberger during the period of 1976 to 1978, including his numerous letters to Gisela Stelly (with translations). Also features his photo mounts, with 75 photos of the 84 adventure paintings from the series "Un Tedesco in Firenze" (1977) and a DVD excerpt from the film "Love and Adventure" by Gisela Stelly (1978). Kippenberger's paintings are based on newspaper and magazine cuttings, and on a painstakingly planned photographic series of unspectacular moments in Florence.
