More about the book
Since the end of the 1990s the Bertelsmann Stiftung has been examining the dialogue between the cultures. After conferences in Egypt, Japan and China, representatives from policy, economy, culture and civil society met in November 2005 in New Delhi to discuss the challenges of globalization. They put their focus on safety policy, the role of the civil society and the relationship between world economy and cultural identity. This volume documents the main contributions of the conference and gives new impulses to the Europe-India dialogue.
