Conceptual content modeling

More about the book

Means to create multimedial content are readily available to experts in many application domains. The model presented in this thesis captures semantics of multimedial content in order to provide descriptions of real-world entities. Descriptions are composed of a conceptual and a medial representation. The conceptual part is used to interrelate entity descriptions such that content is used as the subject of explanation as well as to express semantics. Support processes for working with resulting description networks are available, e. g., to allow domain experts to create a conceptual schema of the application domain.
